Ingredients
- 1/2 Kg Mutton
- 2-3 cloves of garlic
- 1 onion
- 1 tsp saunf
- 1 tbsp sabut dhaniya
- salt
- 4 glasses of water
- 1/2 kg rice, pre soaked for half an hour
- 4 tbsp ghee
- 4-5 cloves
- 4-5 cardamom
- 2-3 cinnamon sticks
- 1/2 tsp Zeera
- 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- A pinch of saffron, mixed with water
Method
- Mix garlic, onion, saunf, sabut dhaniya, to the meat and place on stove till meat is cooked.
- In a big kadai,heat oil and sauce cloves, cardamom, cinnamon and zeera.
- Add ginger garlic paste.
- Remove meat from the water and set the water aside.
- Add meat to the masala prepared and roast.
- Add pre-soaked rice and the water/mutton gravy previously set aside.
- Cook until rice is done
- Reduce heat and add saffron water.
- Garnish with golden fried onions and serve.
