Shantanu Mahanta and Sonal Saxena are both foodoholics who love to explore food and take great pride in Indian food. They feel that Indian food is not well represented and popularized across the world. It still does not get the respect it deserves. Especially for the depth and diversity it has.

RAKA SINGH

Ms Raka Singh’s relation with the food world is very special . She has been promoting and getting the Indian cuisine sampled in different parts of the world. She is known for establishing food credentials originating from UP and Bihar .
Ms Raka Singh, spouse of the current Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium, wears many hats.
In the last ten years, starting with the most recent, Ms Raka Singh, heads an NGO, URJA-Energy, (www.urja-energy.org). The NGO works in the fields of libraries, sewing schools, low cost sanitary napkins, off grid solar energy . Her NGO URJA is working towards bringing back organically grown Kala Namak rice with GI status.
Before this, she was the International Affairs Co-ordinator at the Centre for Fine Arts in Brussels (BOZAR). The largest of its kind in Belgium.
From 2000 to 2010
• Advisor to the President of the foundation of Warta and Kredytbank, Warsaw, Poland.
• Public Relations Officer for the Belgian Embassy in Washington
• President of SHOM in Warsaw (Spouses of Heads of Mission/ Ambassadors posted to Warsaw)
• Mrs Singh is fluent in English, Hindi, Dutch, and French. She also speaks, Polish and German.

Hansal Mehta

When National Award winning director, producer and writer Hansal Mehta met up with eatwithIndia founders, Sonal and Shantanu he was instantly charged. For him, a food lover, this was a logical extension to his journey that he says will come a full cycle through his eatwithIndia association. Hansal prides himself as the father of the Indian food show Khana Khazana through which he brought the now celebrity chef Sanjeev Kapoor directly to Indian homes and through the show he transported world class cuisine to the Indian kitchen. He will now guide the eatwithIndia team in bringing regional cuisine masters to Indian homes.

After growing up on traditional home cooked food, he found the same authenticity lacking in commercial establishments, both as a diner as well as a cook. So, when he came across eatwithIndia there was a synergy to make a difference to the dwindling popularity of Indian food. Experimenting with food is his passion, when not in the kitchen he’s an avid traveller and a sports enthusiast.

After an MBA and graduating in economics, Priyanka has over 15 years of operational experience in the financial services sector. eatwithIndia is where her enthusiasm for food, entrepreneurial mindset and desire to do something great, comes together. She is excited and passionate about this unique concept, that showcases renowned as well as budding culinary talents, brings diverse people together and most importantly highlights Indian food and culture in a well deserving manner.A mother of two boys she enjoys playing all sports with them. When she is not spending time with her family, she enjoys gyming and listening to music.

Kashmiri Barkakati

Ambassador(North-East India)

Food Enthusiast, Blogger, Recipe Developer, Food Consultant, Baker – Kashmiri is master of all trades. Born in Guwahati and alumni of ISB Hyderabad, Kashmiri always had a knack for food & cooking. Finally her passion took over her career as she has graduated from being a home chef to hosting a food festival at the Marriott, Hyderabad. Kashmiri learnt the nuances of Assamese cooking from her mother, and put that knowledge to practice when she had to begin her life in the tea gardens with her husband after her marriage. Now she has many feathers in her cap. – She is the Founder of the “North East Food Forum”, a regular contributor to mycity4kids.com as an expert blogger, a columnist with “Gplus” tabloid in Assam, and an empanelled contributor on the online magazine “Travel Trunk NE”. She conceptualized and started ‘xoxo cupcakes etc., when fondant cakes were a thing of fairy tales in Guwahati as well as her own food blog. She has also been a Jury member for the Guwahati food awards, a menu taster at Vivanta by Taj and has developed recipes for the Gateway Grandeur Hotel in Guwahati. She now joins hands with eatwithIndia as the EWI Ambassador for the North East Indian Region.

Manveer Sakhi

Ambassador(Amritsar)

Manveer Sakhi a trained F&B professional from IHM- Aurangabad who runs a successful food business in Amritsar which was set up by his grand father & subsequently expanded by his father, he has been Instrumental in evolving the business and successfull introducing the most elaborate menu in the takeaway format in the city. He believes that a happy chef can turn around any dish superbly even with simplest of ingredients. His vision of promoting regional cuisines matched the mission and philosophy of eatwithIndia as he takes charge to promote the regional cuisines in Amritsar for eatwithIndia.
