Green Peppercorn Chutney

Ingredients

  • 250 gms fresh green peppercorns
  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tbsp white vinegar
  • 2 Pinch of salt

  Prep: 10 min                    Cook: 15 min                          Ready In: 25 min

Method

  • Take 200 gms of green pepper corns and make a paste of it in grinder. Keep remaining 50 gms of whole green pepper corns aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan on low flame.
  • Now put the green pepper paste in to the pan. Saute and stirring continuously for about 7/8 minutes. Add a pinch of salt and mix well.
  • Switch off the flame. Let it rest and cool down.
  • Now add the vinegar and mix well.
  • Green pepper corn sauce is ready. Preserve it in a air tight glass jar. It can be used as a marinade for any kind of roast/ grill preparation.
