Food plays a magical role in my life. It is an expression of my love for life and creating, experimenting with ingredients and trying out new Cuisines is my joy. Living and growing up in Assam amidst nature and serenity has shaped my sensibilities and all this finds its way in my cooking.

A stay at home mother to two beautiful girls and a food loving, supportive husband, who has only given me the opportunity to hone my skill further. I’m greatly influenced by my mother and Grandmother’s cooking style.

I still remember the simple meals that my Grandmother use to prepare for us, meals eaten long ago but the taste still remains, I try and recreate the same taste and flavours of our home cooked meals.

Dishes prepared with much care and love especially during our festival of Ramadan. Although, actual cooking happened only after my marriage and in my new home, where cooking became my companion and a great friend. The kitchen is one my favourite place at home, which allows me to experiment as well serve soul satisfying food to my loved ones.

Indulging our old age recipes with some new ingredients. The fusion of blending past with the present can be seen in my dishes.
