Location: New Delhi

Born & brought up in a Bengali family of Guwahati (Assam) & married to a Odia gives her exposure to a multi cuisine of these three states; Bengali. Assamese & Odia.

Currently working as a Merchandiser dealing with Charity products, Donna’s interest in cooking developed with watching Sanjeev Kapoor’s Khana Khazana show back in 90’s.

She used to experiment on cooking with a combination of very few ingredients during her summer vacations in school at a very young age. Her love for food & attempt of trying out new recipes still remains strong since her childhood days, experimenting any existing recipe by giving it a different twist excites her a lot.

She learnt a lot about Odia cuisine from her mother-in law, whose knowledge is now helping her on bringing out ancient odiya recipes whose ingredients are now not anymore same like the earlier days.

She wants to bring out the forgotten or not so popular few pre-historic Odia recipes by joining hand with her like-minded friend Barnali Rath. Various ranges of Non Veg dishes are her forte.
