Master Chef, Journalist, Film Maker, Brand and Cuisine ambassador… Chef Arun Kumar dons many hats.

With over 25 years of experience behind him, he has turned several businesses around. As a Journalist, he trained with Times Of India and went on to become a film critic for Filmfare magazine.

As a Filmmaker, he has done spots, feature films, TV serials and feature length documentaries for Discovery and NHK. On the Food Front, he pioneered the concept of Pop-Ups in Delhi. Consequently, as the Brand & Cuisine Head, Chef Arun took Zambar, a brand owned by Lite Bite Foods, to new heights with his expertise in authentic South Indian coastal cuisines.

He was declared a MasterChef on a Reality Cookery Show on NDTV Goodtimes. Followed by innumerable awards for Zambar, and himself. Chef Arun had setup more than half a dozen outlets in India and UAE. Giving him the cutting edge in kitchen and restaurant design, implementation and execution.

His passion for food and his quest for perfection has made him a well recognised figure within the Hospitality industry and a leading figure in popularising South Indian Coastal Food.

According to Chef Arun, he is at his relaxed best when he is cooking. It’s no wonder then, that the taste of his creations lingers on the palate, long after that last bite.
